            Crockett is 2-8 against Bastrop since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Crockett Cougars will host the Bastrop Bears  at 8:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Crockett will head into Friday's  contest on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking two-point  loss in their last  match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Richards School for Young Women Leaders  on Friday. Crockett was the clear victor by  a  50-24 margin over Richards School for Young Women Leaders.

Bastrop took their  contest  with ease, bagging  a  57-30 victory over Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin. The  win was familiar territory for the Bears who have now won five  matchups in a row.
 Bastrop's victory was  their 11th straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 30-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.6 points. As for Crockett, their win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 17-13.
