Mount St. Charles Academy walked away with a 60-47 win over Mt. Hope on Friday. With that win, Mount St. Charles Academy brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mount St. Charles Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mariia Solovian, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. Solovian has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Anna Dziun was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Mount St. Charles Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Mt. Hope, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
