Baseball Recap: Delta Takes a Loss

Delta lost against Coal Ridge on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly five runs.

Pacey Smith made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Delta and nudges their season record down to 16-7. As for Coal Ridge, the victory (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 20-2-1.

As of now, neither Delta nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
