Softball Recap: Mason County Eastern Comes Up Short

Mason County Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 13-5 to the Mason County Central Spartans.

Mason County Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Mason County Central, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-12.

Coming up, Mason County Eastern will challenge Suttons Bay at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Mason County Central will be paying especially close attention to the Cardinals' contest: after the Cardinals face off against the Norsemen, they'll take on Mason County Central again at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
