Volleyball Recap: Stevenson Comes Up Short

Stevenson lost against Libertyville two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Patriots took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20.

Abigail Inman paced Stevenson's offense, picking up six kills. Inman got some help from Ryler Bondad and her seven assists. Inman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Stevenson has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Libertyville, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Stevenson will be taking part in a tournament against Prospect at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Libertyville, they will take on Centennial in a tournament on Friday.
