Basketball Game Preview: Omaha R Roadrunners vs. Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H Hornets

Two dominant guards in Stephen Vankat and Blake Greer are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Omaha R Roadrunners will square off against the Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H Hornets at 2:25 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Omaha R is headed into Friday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They fell 64-56 to Lincoln HomeSchool on Friday.

Meanwhile, Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H hadn't done well against Fayetteville Christian recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H walked away with a 60-53 win over Fayetteville Christian.

Omaha R better keep an eye on Greer. He was instrumental in Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H's win, going 7 of 14 on his way to 22 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. Greer has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Conner Baber was another key player, going 5 for 8 en route to 18 points and three steals.

Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Omaha R, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
