Recap: Palm Beach Lakes Rams vs. Central Cobras

The Palm Beach Lakes Rams won the last time they faced the Central Cobras, and things went their way on Thursday too. Palm Beach Lakes walked away with a 50-41 win over Central.

Palm Beach Lakes got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ezria Pierre-louis out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Pierre-louis has scored at least a third of Palm Beach Lakes' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zuri Miller-Whiteside, who scored 18 points.

Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being HARMON RANDOLPH, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and four steals. RANDOLPH is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. CHAU DAVIS was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

Palm Beach Lakes now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Central, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8.

Palm Beach Lakes will head out on the road to square off against Dwyer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Dwyer is coming into the contest with three straight victories at home, so Palm Beach Lakes is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Davenport at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Davenport is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season.
