Baseball Recap: Pilot Point Takes a Loss

Pilot Point lost to Boyd on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bearcats came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 10-1. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pilot Point saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Garrett Evans, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that Evans has hit this season.

Pilot Point's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Boyd, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 27-2.

Pilot Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Boyd, they will venture away from home to challenge Brock at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
