Volleyball Game Preview: Conneaut Area Eagles vs. Saegertown Panthers

The Conneaut Area Eagles will face off against the Saegertown Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Conneaut Area didn't have quite enough to beat Eisenhower and fell 3-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Conneaut Area actually scored more points across those five sets (105-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 22-25, 11-25, 25-22, 25-21, 15-12.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Saegertown faced off against Maplewood on Thursday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since October 4, 2024.

Saegertown's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Conneaut Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6-1.
