Basketball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton lost against Quincy back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hamilton Braves fell 61-51 to the Quincy Trojans. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Hamilton lost, don't look at Case Porter. Despite the final result, he posted 26 points. The dominant performance gave Porter a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Stickney, who earned 11 points.

Hamilton now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Quincy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-10.

Hamilton has already played their next match, a 68-53 victory against East Nicolaus on the 19th. As for Quincy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 89-57 loss against Mt. Shasta on the 21st.
