It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Douglass had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Latexo Tigers as they made off with an 11-4 win. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Douglass and bumps their season record up to 13-10. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Latexo, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Douglass beat the Tigers by a score of 9-7 on Saturday.
