Soccer Recap: Ogden Takes a Loss

Ogden lost against A-D-M back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs lost 9-0 to the Tigers. While losing is never fun, Ogden can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 128th, while A-D-M are ranked 48th).

Ogden's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-2. As for A-D-M, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ogden will face off against Denison-Schleswig at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for A-D-M, they will challenge Dallas Center-Grimes at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. A-D-M are facing Dallas Center-Grimes at the right time seeing as Dallas Center-Grimes are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
