Shoals entered their tilt with Pike Central on Thursday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Chargers. The Jug Rox have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chargers, too.

Journey Chastain paced Shoals' offense, picking up eight kills. Chastain got some help from Rylee Bauer and her 25 assists. Bauer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Shoals' victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Pike Central, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Shoals wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Dugger Union on the 5th. As for Pike Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Mt. Vernon on the 6th.
