Softball Recap: Southwestern Rebels vs. New Washington Mustangs
Southwestern's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Everything went their way against the New Washington Mustangs as they made off with a 17-7 victory. The win continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won nine in a row.

Chloey Leach made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up six earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.
