Soccer Recap: Bayside Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

While Bayside's victory against Francis Lewis wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Commodores' defense stepped up to hand the Patriots a 1-0 shutout on Thursday. The result kept Bayside happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 2nd.

Bayside pushed their record up to 7-1-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matches. As for Francis Lewis, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4-2.
