Basketball Recap: Timberland Comes Up Short

Timberland and Bridges Prep squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Timberland had to settle for second. They took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bridges Prep Buccaneers.

Q Young was his usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double with 20 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 assists for Bridges Prep. Young is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last 24 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was C Arroyo, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 12 points.

Timberland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Bridges Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Timberland nor Bridges Prep have any future games scheduled.
