Basketball Recap: St. Peter Comes Up Short

St. Peter and New Ulm squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but St. Peter had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 65-64 to the New Ulm Eagles. The Saints just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

St. Peter's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for New Ulm, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-9.

As of now, neither St. Peter nor New Ulm have any future games scheduled.
