Softball Recap: Morgan Raiders vs. Carrollton Warriors

Morgan not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16th (when they won 15-1). They put the hurt on the Carrollton Warriors with a sharp 13-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Allia Rush was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Rush was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, two stolen bases, and five RBI while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in runs (three).

In other batting news, Ellie Parsons and Myka Augenstein did most of the damage at the plate: Parsons went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run, while Augenstein went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most RBI Parsons has posted since back in April. Blair Clawson was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Morgan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
