Basketball Game Preview: Clemens Buffaloes vs. Alamo Heights Mules

The Clemens Buffaloes will take on the Alamo Heights Mules at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Clemens will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

On Saturday, Clemens was able to grind out a solid win over Clark, taking the game 49-36. The 49-point effort marked the Buffaloes' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Alamo Heights beat Westlake 59-55 on Tuesday.

Clemens better focus on containing Jack Brewer and William Whittingstall as the pair were huge in Alamo Heights' win. Brewer shot 54% from the field on his way to 21 points and five boards, while Whittingstall went 6-for-13 en route to 21 points. The contest was Brewer's eighth in a row with at least 20 points. Harrison Taylor was another key player, putting up nine points.

Clemens' victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Alamo Heights, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
