Volleyball Recap: Westerville South Wildcats vs. Worthington Kilbourne Wolves

After flying high against Hayes last Thursday, Westerville South came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Worthington Kilbourne Wolves on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on April 10th.

Westerville South was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-18, 25-17.

Their offense was headlined by Leo Harden and RaShaun Benham, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from David Mowery and his 23 assists. Harden and Benham didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Westerville South's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Worthington Kilbourne, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-6.
