Volleyball Recap: Lewistown Falls Short of Cuba/Spoon River Valley in the Playoffs

Lewistown and Cuba/Spoon River Valley squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Lewistown had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss two weeks ago.

Lewistown has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-16 record this season. As for Cuba/Spoon River Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-9.

Lewistown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cuba/Spoon River Valley, they will face off against Elmwood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
