Softball Preview: Housatonic Mountaineers vs. Shepaug Valley Spartans
Housatonic is 0-10 against Shepaug Valley since April of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Mountaineers will venture away from home to challenge the Spartans at 3:45 p.m.
Housatonic is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They lost 17-0 to Thomaston.
Meanwhile, Shepaug Valley had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday.
