Volleyball Recap: Saint Francis Wins Going Away Against San Joaquin Memorial

Saint Francis's tournament run continued when they took on San Joaquin Memorial on Friday. The Lancers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers.

Despite the loss, San Joaquin Memorial still got an impressive performance from Sarah Villalvazo, who had 17 digs and four assists. Villalvazo is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Saint Francis is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for San Joaquin Memorial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.

Saint Francis has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Rosary Academy on the 26th. As for San Joaquin Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against La Jolla on the 27th.
