Puyallup won the last time they faced Curtis, and things went their way on Friday too. The Puyallup Vikings strolled past the Curtis Vikings with points to spare, taking the game 49-35. Puyallup pushed the score to 42-21 by the end of the third, a deficit Curtis cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Puyallup to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyson Douglas, who rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Douglas has posted since back in October of 2023. Jayden Woodland was another key receiver, picking up 93 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Puyallup didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Garden is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made seven or more in the last four games he's played.

The victory was the third in a row for Puyallup, bringing their record for this year to 4-4. As for Curtis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Puyallup will be playing at home against Yelm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Puyallup is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 29.1 points per game this season. Curtis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
