Baseball Game Preview: Everett Warriors vs. Southern Fulton Indians

The Everett Warriors will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Southern Fulton Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Everett came up short against Tussey Mountain on Tuesday, falling 14-4. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Everett saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Dinnocenti, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Southern Fulton put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Northern Bedford County 11-1.

Owen Oakman made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Joel Fitz, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jett Burger, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southern Fulton, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
