Football Game Preview: Palmer Panthers vs. Ware Indians

The Palmer Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Ware Indians at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Palmer took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Mahar Regional, posting a 41-6 victory. That 35 point margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

Meanwhile, Ware had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They never let the Green Wave get on the board and left with a 14-0 win.

Palmer's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Ware, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Palmer and Ware were almost perfectly matched up when the teams last played back in November of 2024, but Palmer suffered an agonizing 7-6 loss. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
