Football Recap: Booker T. Washington Makes It Ten in a Row at Home

Booker T. Washington won the last time they faced Northview and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wildcats blew past the Chiefs, posting a 34-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.

Anaiyah Adams looked great while leading her team to the win, throwing for 146 yards and one touchdown while completing 80% of her passes, and also rushing for 45 yards.

Booker T. Washington didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Da'Rieon Gilbert led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

Booker T. Washington's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.6 points on average this season. As for Northview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Booker T. Washington will challenge Escambia at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Gators at the right time seeing as the Gators are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Northview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
