Harnett Central Gets a Boost from Brown in 26-19 Win

Starting off the list is Harnett Central's Dj Brown, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Brown picked up 124 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Harnett Central is undefeated when Brown posts two or more receiving touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

This is the second loss in a row for Overhills and nudges their season record down to 3-5. Coley and Overhills will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pine Forest at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Clifton Came Up Big in Terry Sanford's 34-6 Win

Justice Clifton was instrumental in extending Terry Sanford's winning streak to five on Friday. Clifton was unstoppable, picking up two sacks and making eight total tackles (6.0 for loss).

This year, Clifton has averaged 6.6 total tackles per game and for the season has 9 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had one sack.
