Volleyball Recap: West Carroll Comes Up Short

West Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stockton Blackhawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blackhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 5th.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11.

Claire Handel paced West Carroll's offense, picking up four kills. Handel got some help from Audri Wilcox and her nine assists.

West Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Stockton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

West Carroll has already played their next match (against Galena), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Stockton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Scales Mound on the 2nd.
