It's playoff time, and Maroa-Forsyth had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Johnston City Indians, posting a 41-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven games by 34 points or more so far this season.

Maroa-Forsyth got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryne Sheppard out in front who rushed for 42 yards and two scores, and also threw for 183 yards and one touchdown while completing 78.6% of his passes. The Trojans' leading receiver Zach Smith was Sheppard's top target yet again, picking up 135 receiving yards and one TD.

The victory was the third in a row for Maroa-Forsyth, bringing their record up to 9-2. As for Johnston City, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.

Looking ahead, Maroa-Forsyth will be playing at home against Flora at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Johnston City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
