Basketball Recap: Many Farms Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Many Farms can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 41-40 to the Round Valley Elks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Elks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-45 back in January.

Round Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kelci Walker, who posted 12 points and seven boards. Carla Arreola was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals.

Many Farms' defeat dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Round Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Many Farms nor Round Valley have any future games scheduled.
