Onaga entered their tilt with Valley Heights on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The Buffaloes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Willow Hochstedler made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jadyn Haskin, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Another player making a difference was Abbie Ringel, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Onaga's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Valley Heights, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Onaga will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair will be back at it again later today.
