Soccer Recap: Woodland Comes Up Short

After flying high against Barnwell last Thursday, Woodland came back down to earth. Woodland came up short against the Academic Magnet Raptors on Thursday, falling 7-0. Woodland have struggled against Academic Magnet recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Woodland now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Academic Magnet, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Woodland will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Timberland at 5:30 p.m. on April 1. As for Academic Magnet, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 0-0 defeat against A.C. Flora on the 22nd.
