Baseball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grand Oaks Grizzlies. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Indians have suffered since March 8, 2024.

Cleveland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jose Romo, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Grand Oaks, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cleveland will take on Willis at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grand Oaks, they will face off against New Caney at 6:00 p.m. on March 21st.
