Baseball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline blew Bedford out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Bedford got their revenge. The Eagles fell just short of the Kicking Mules by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for Bedford, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-5 record.

Coming up, Skyline will head out on the road to face off against Tecumseh at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bedford, they will square off against Clay at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Kicking Mules surely won't give up without a fight.
