Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Belton). Everything went their way against the Ellison Eagles on Friday as they made off with an 18-2 win. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Lake Belton's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Ellison, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Looking ahead, Lake Belton will host Waco at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
