Volleyball Recap: Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Comes Up Short

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Winner Warriors. If the Braves were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in September of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Winner, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte will face off against Pine Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Winner, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Chamberlain on the 20th.
