Basketball Recap: St. John Bosco Academy's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

St. John Bosco Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took an 86-76 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (67), St. John Bosco Academy still had to take the loss.

Georgia Force Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carter McCarn, who went 10 for 15 from beyond the arc on his way to 35 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. McCarn's evening made it 21 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was CJ Britt, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 assists.

St. John Bosco Academy's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-6. As for Georgia Force Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season.

St. John Bosco Academy has already played their next contest, a 76-19 win against Varsity Opponent on the 21st. As for Georgia Force Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 82-67 victory against Johnson Ferry Christian Academy on the 23rd.
