Basketball Game Preview: Jenkins Warriors vs. Beach Bulldogs

Jenkins is 2-8 against Beach since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Jenkins Warriors will look to defend their home court against the Beach Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Jenkins will be strutting in after a win while Beach will be coming in after a loss.

Jenkins will bounce into Saturday's game after beating Johnson, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Jenkins breezed by Johnson to the tune of 67-9 on Friday. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Beach was beaten by Calvary Day 62-32 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Jenkins has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Jenkins strolled past Beach in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 71-52. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Beach's Mariah Reid, who posted 33 points. Now that she's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Jenkins still be able to contain Reid? There's only one way to find out.
