Soccer Game Preview: Grand Oaks vs. College Park

The Grand Oaks Grizzlies will head out on the road to square off against the College Park Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Grand Oaks is headed into the contest having not lost since January 11 and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Cleveland onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Tuesday. The Grizzlies haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, College Park made easy work of Oak Ridge on Tuesday and carried off a 5-0 victory. Considering the Cavaliers have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Grand Oaks' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for College Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
