Volleyball Recap: Mitchell Takes a Loss

Mitchell saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Northeast Dubois Jeeps.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12.

Despite the loss, Mitchell still got an impressive performance from Natalee Nissley, who had 15 digs. Nissley is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Northeast Dubois, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mitchell will take on Eastern Greene at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bluejackets are facing the Thunderbirds at the right time seeing as the Thunderbirds are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Northeast Dubois, they will square off against Springs Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
