After losing to Westwood the last time they met, Dobson decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mustangs walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Warriors on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Allie Hanson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on 14 hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Nikole Torres, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiley Beard, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Dobson's record is now 8-9. As for Westwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Looking ahead, Dobson will host Skyline at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westwood, they will head out on the road to challenge Mountain Ridge at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors are facing the Mountain Lions at the right time seeing as the Mountain Lions are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
