Atherton came out on top against Kentucky Country Day on Saturday thanks in part to McCoy Morgan's efforts. Morgan scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Coming up, Morgan and Atherton will head out on the road to face off against Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Morgan had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest back in April of 2024 17-0.
