Baseball Recap: Sam Houston Takes a Loss

Sam Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the South Grand Prairie Warriors, falling 11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-2 last Tuesday.

Sam Houston's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for South Grand Prairie, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3-2.

Looking ahead, Sam Houston will challenge Bowie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bowie's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Sam Houston's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for South Grand Prairie, they will head out on the road to challenge Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
