Volleyball Recap: Woodcrest Christian Gets the Win

Woodcrest Christian won the last time they faced Segerstrom and things went their way on Saturday too. The Royals came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 2-0.

Evelyn Pool paced Woodcrest Christian's offense, picking up 20 kills. Pool got some help from Viviana Giovannini and her 24 assists. Brooklyn Russell controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Woodcrest Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Segerstrom, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9-1 record this season.

Woodcrest Christian has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against San Pedro on the 6th. Segerstrom has also already played their next match (against Los Altos), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
