Volleyball Recap: Shadyside Tigers vs. Frontier Cougars
It was a proper cat-fight when Shadyside challenged Frontier on Thursday. The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cougars. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Shadyside had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-15, 25-14, 25-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shadyside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ali Weatherson, who had 38 assists and 11 digs. Weatherson is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Nippert, who had 12 digs, 11 kills, and two aces.
Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kenzie Livingston, who had 20 digs and two assists.
Shadyside's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Frontier, they dropped their record down to 7-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
