Mercer Island skates past Juanita with ease

Recap: Mercer Island Islanders vs. Juanita Ravens
The Mercer Island Islanders won the last time they faced the Juanita Ravens, and things went their way on Monday too. Mercer Island really took it to Juanita for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-47 victory at home. With Mercer Island ahead 51-27 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Tristen Cruzen was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Will Mcdonald, who scored 12 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Mercer Island and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Juanita, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mercer Island will face off against Hazen at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Juanita, they will head out on the road to face off against Interlake at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
