Volleyball Recap: Immanuel Christian Takes a Loss

Immanuel Christian lost against Silver Valley back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crusaders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-22, 24-26, 25-19.

Ava Blakie paced Immanuel Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Blakie got some help from Neisha Schollars and her 19 assists. Finally, Blakie was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high seven blocks.

Silver Valley found their leader in sophomore Joey Lankin, who had seven aces.

Immanuel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Silver Valley, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Immanuel Christian has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Lone Pine on the 28th. As for Silver Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Lucerne Valley on the 26th.
