Hillcrest won the last time they faced Jefferson and things went their way on Friday too. The Hillcrest Panthers breezed by the Jefferson Patriots to the tune of 58-21. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 31 points or more this season.

Hillcrest's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Clauriannys Berrios, who went 6 for 11 on her way to 14 points and eight steals. Berrios is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Norton, who went 7 of 13 en route to 15 points and four steals.

The victory got Hillcrest back to even at 13-13. As for Jefferson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
