Blackhawk came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Central Valley Warriors a 7-0 shutout. Considering the Cougars have won three games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Blackhawk's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Central Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Blackhawk is taking a road trip to face off against Riverside at 4:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for Central Valley, they will host Beaver at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
